Parlow is operated by Ninentynine Oranges Enterprises in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Parlow helps businesses understand and respond to comments on their Facebook Pages, posts, and ads. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, who we share it with, and how you can delete it.
Information we collect
Meta platform data. When you connect Meta, we may receive the Facebook Pages you can manage, Page identifiers and access tokens, posts and ads associated with those Pages, comments and replies under those posts and ads, commenter names and other identifiers supplied by Meta, and ad campaign metadata such as account, campaign, ad set, ad, creative, and performance identifiers.
Account data. We collect your name, email address, login credentials in hashed form, workspace and brand information, member roles, settings, support messages, and activity needed to secure and operate your account.
Billing data. We store your plan, subscription status, payment references, invoices, and limited transaction details. Payment processors handle full card or bank details. Parlow does not store complete payment credentials.
Product data. We store the brand guidance, product facts, reply settings, approved or posted replies, moderation actions, audit records, and reports created while you use Parlow.
Technical data. We may collect IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, error logs, and basic usage events needed for security, reliability, and support.
How we use information
We use this information to connect the Pages and ad accounts you choose, retrieve and organize comments, identify buyer questions and brand risks, generate audit reports and analytics, draft replies, post replies as your Page when you approve or enable that feature, apply your moderation settings, provide customer support, process billing, prevent abuse, and improve service reliability.
Meta platform data is used only to provide the features you request, in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms and applicable developer policies. We do not use Meta platform data for unrelated advertising, profiling, or data brokerage.
No sale of data
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data or Meta platform data. We do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
Service providers and sharing
We share data only when needed to operate Parlow, comply with law, or protect the service. Our processors may include hosting and database providers, payment processors, email and support providers, security and monitoring vendors, and AI model providers used to classify comments or draft requested content. They may process only the data needed to perform services for us and are required to protect it.
Some providers may process data outside India. Where required, we use appropriate contractual and legal safeguards for cross-border transfers. We may also disclose information when required by law or during a business reorganization, subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice where permitted.
Retention
While a Page is connected, we retain the data needed to provide Parlow and maintain its audit history. After you disconnect a Page, we delete or de-identify the Meta platform data associated with that connection within 90 days, unless you delete it sooner or we must retain limited records for legal, fraud-prevention, billing, or security purposes. Backup copies may remain until they cycle out under our normal backup schedule.
Data deletion
You have three ways to request deletion. Each path starts a deletion process that we complete within 30 days:
- Disconnect a Page in Parlow. Open Channels in your Parlow workspace and disconnect the Facebook Page. This immediately stops new access and begins deletion of stored data associated with that Page.
- Delete your Parlow account. Use the account deletion option in Workspace settings, or email info@getparlow.com from your account email address. This deletes your account and associated workspace data, subject to limited legal retention.
- Remove Parlow from Facebook. In Facebook, open Settings, then Business Integrations, find Parlow, and remove it. This revokes Parlow's Meta access. Meta then notifies us automatically and we queue deletion of the data we hold about you, along with a confirmation code you can use to check the status of that request.
We may ask you to verify your identity or authority over the workspace before completing a request. We will confirm completion by email when an email address is available.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption in transit, encryption at rest where supported, access controls, workspace separation, logging, and restricted staff access. Meta access tokens and other platform credentials are encrypted in storage and are not shown in full in the product. No online service is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask to access, correct, update, export, restrict, object to, or delete your personal data, and you may withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, eligible users may seek information about processing, correction and erasure, grievance redressal, and nomination as provided by applicable law. Under the GDPR, eligible users may also have rights to portability, restriction, objection, and complaint to a supervisory authority. Email us to exercise a right. We may verify your identity and will respond within the period required by applicable law.
Cookies
Parlow uses necessary cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, maintain security, remember preferences, and make the service work. We may use limited analytics to understand product performance. We do not use Parlow account data or Meta platform data for third-party behavioral advertising.
Age restriction
Parlow is a business service intended only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Parlow, the law, or platform requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If a change materially affects your rights or how we use data, we will provide reasonable notice in the product or by email.
